ROMANCE 14 FEB...

Goodness, it St. Valentine’s day yet again…a day to hold your love one and spit into his/her eyes, oops, I mean speak, telling her how much u love him/her; how much the relationship/ marriage have come through; how much u will treasure him/ her…follow by a romantic dinner, follow by a bouquet of roses, follow by... a the hefty bill…sounds too familiar? don't get me wrong. i'm a romantic person. it's becos valentine's day has been exploited!! Yupz, valentine’s day has gone way too commercialize!!! All the supposing romantic, lovey-dovey stuff were all exploited, much to the retailer’s pocket. How about getting someone to pack a bouquet of roses wrapped around a gummie bear, coupled with a card which embroiled “I LOVE YOU” in front? Yeah, sounds good but will set you back at least a hundred becos it’s valentine’s day!! Not forgetting the supposing up class dinner with just two extra roses being showcased in a cheap vase and a candle bought in bulk at Ikea, and all these will cost u another 200. Gosh, what happened?? Fool rushing in? u bet! There are still thousands of people willing to pay such monies just to get things done. Reason being it’s really too convenient. Everything is just phone calls away!! Geez, all originality and novelty were all taken away. Folks who used to crack out their brain juices out while planning this special event for his/her special ones, you are spared. So, how abt a romantic valentine’s day? Take out your credit card, pick up the phone and go figure it out…
