I feel like doing a test to all my friends, a “CAN I BORROW XXX AMOUNT” kind of test, to see who is genuinely my “FRIEND”. I think friendship is best unveil with $$ involved. Kind of feeling upset cos’ I realized that some of them has been taking me and my kind presence for granted. Only call when they need something, as a monetary resource or emo outlet, which has slowly becoming a habit. I, in turn, will call or sms them frequently for a simple hello…nothing more… Except a handful of peeps and few of those drinking kakis left…knns...

Of dating...

On the same note as her, I would like to re-enforce that dating is indeed… (A) Boring I think most people would agree. Besides doing the norm, there’s really not much a couple can do. Worst is when your other part is obsessed to a certain activity that does not involves you totally (pedicure; manicure; facial; women shopping; drinking; watching soccer etc). And worst of all is that they would like you to tag along so that your valuable opinions can be of help (I think only advices men can give is for sexy lingeries and comments from most women is that footballer is damn cuteeeee, ok?). (B) Complicated This is rather tricky. Depending on the availability of either party and level of involvement. Especially when one ask for no-strings-attached-kind-of involvement. Though maybe tempting initially, it will most likely end up as fatal attraction, with either party total immerse into it and unwillingly to let go. It might even lead to domestic issues and stuff. (C) Fattening/ Unhealthy Totally. This will constitute more truth when both parties are gluttons and sloth at the same time. Confirm plus chop that both will end up like this if nothing is to be done. (D) Expensive Nothing is free, anyway. Need I say more? (E)Anti-social This actually only applies at the initial stage. But as time goes by, it should be resolved unless one party is unwilling to bring both his/her partner out to meet friends, hence have to spend most time together, with minimal contact with social world. Merlion

It was a fanatical night. Dinner was served at spaggadies (is it how u spell it? Doesn’t matter really, cos all end up in the toilet). Drinks were at the usual place. Had 15 jugs or more of tiger beer, half a btl of black label and countless shots of tequila (tt’s how dinner go to waste). Soon after cutting my cake, I blacked out for 5 min, causing panics amongst my frds. Resumed to full action after that. Last stop was bak kut teh at Havelock at 3am.Although I was wasted in the end, it was a fun night; with majority of my frds drank themselves silly, dancing to any music that comes out of the sound system. And yes, Merlion had a replica at Ang Mo Kio. Yup, that’s how I spent Children’s day which is, my birthday as well.
